by soldering in a socket that the pins on your ECU will fit into. That way you can switch chips at any time in the future without soldering again. Meaning you could throw your stock chip back in at any time. No need for another ECU unit, as the chip is the only thing worth messing with in there. But yes you could remove boost jets and return to stock like levels. Main thing the new ECU program is doing is adjusting your fuel maps so as not to lean out with the extra boost. Also timming is adjusted and rev limit, and shift points if automatic.
